Installation of 4 off In-Vessel Rotary Drum Composting Systems at Parham, Suffolk

Ebbsfleet Engineering Services secured the contract for the offloading, building and installation of 2 off
20M long x 4M diameter and 2 off 12M long x 4M diameter, rotary drum composting systems, at Bioganix's Parham, Suffolk composting facility.

Ebbsfleet Engineering Services provided their 12 tonne lifting capacity forklift truck with heavy-lift jib attachment, to offload the drum sections weighing up to 9 tonnes each.

In preparation for installation a full optical survey of the floor was undertaken and machine datum lines marked on the floor. Sub-frames were aligned and leveled prior to the drive systems being installed. The drum sections were then lifted on the sub frames and drives and bolted together.
